Fecon Wins Compact Equipment Magazine’s Innovative Iron Award

(Lebanon, OH) Fecon LLC announces that their newest addition to the Bull Hog line of mulchers, the RK6015, has won the Innovative Iron Award from Compact Equipment in the Attachments category. The award honors the “best compact, off-highway machines, technologies, and OEM systems released for sale or concept in 2021.” Innovative Iron award winners were featured in the November/December issue of Compact Equipment Magazine.

“It is gratifying to win the Innovative Iron Award because it validates the hard work and effort that many people poured into this project,” said Fecon VP of Dealer Development Mike Kucharski. “The accolades are nice, especially coming from Compact Equipment, because they focus entirely on this segment of the equipment market. We’re also thrilled to hear from owners that have ventured into the expanding mulching market.”

This new model has a wider working width and pairs well with standard flow skid steers up to 75 HP that have 17-27 GPM of hydraulic flow, have enclosed cabs that can be properly protected with the appropriate polycarbonate guarding, and have the ability to carry the 1465-pound attachment. This new brush cutting tool allows those with standard flow skid steers up to 75 HP to expand their capabilities and enter the brush-cutting arena without large capital expenditure. A bite-limiting split ring rotor holds 26 knife or carbide-type cutting tools and has a 60-inch working width. Operating at 2400 rpm, it can easily shred brush and small trees up to 5-inches in diameter, making it an excellent tool for general vegetation management, creating “defensible space” for fire prevention, clearing fence rows, lot and land cleanup, and much more. Ideal for rental fleets as well as landscapers, arborists, farmers, ranchers, landowners/property managers, parks & recreational facilities, municipalities, Christmas tree farms, and others tasked with managing brush and vegetation.
