The 62-inch SC6220 offers the same core performance in a more compact and affordable package. Its rotor sits within the width of the loader’s tracks, meaning the tracks will run over uncrushed material. For users prioritizing budget or working in tighter spaces, the SC6220 delivers crushing power at a smaller scale.
The 76-inch SC7620 is engineered so that the full width of the attachment extends beyond the compact track loader’s tracks. This design ensures that rocks are crushed before your tracks ever touch them, significantly reducing wear and extending the life of this critical (and expensive) wear part. With the rotor covering the full footprint of the CTL, every pass maximizes efficiency and minimizes maintenance.
Which Stone Crusher Fits Your Machine
Both Fecon rock crushers are hydraulic attachments for skid steers and compact track loaders. There is no PTO or three-point tractor version. Three things decide which one you need, and the third is the one people get wrong.
Hydraulic flow first
Both models run on 30 to 50 GPM at up to 6,000 PSI through a 160cc variable displacement motor. Below 30 GPM the rotor will not hold speed in rock and you will stall it. Check your machine's auxiliary hydraulic flow before you check anything else.
Horsepower and weight
The SC6220 suits 80 to 132 HP carriers and weighs 3,330 lbs. The SC7620 suits 90 to 132 HP and weighs 3,965 lbs. Check the weight against your machine's rated operating capacity, not its tipping load.
Working width against your tracks
This is the difference between the two models and it is worth understanding. The 62-inch SC6220 sits inside the width of the loader's tracks, so the tracks run over material the rotor has not touched. The 76-inch SC7620 extends past the tracks, so rock is crushed before the tracks reach it. On a machine you plan to work hard, the wider head pays for itself in undercarriage life, which is one of the most expensive wear items you own.

Rock crusher, rock grinder, stone crusher: what operators call it
Depending on the region and the trade, this attachment gets called a rock crusher, a rock grinder, a rock mulcher, a stone crusher or a rock milling machine. They all describe the same job. A hydraulically driven rotor with carbide tooling breaks rock down in place, in the ground, and leaves a surface you can seed, grade or drive on. That is different from a hopper-fed crusher, which you feed with material you have already dug up. The SC6220 and SC7620 are skid steer and compact track loader attachments, running on 30 to 50 GPM at up to 6,000 PSI.

Most crusher attachments are hopper-fed. You dig material up, feed it in, and get processed material out. The Fecon Stone Crusher works the other way. It passes over rocky ground and breaks the rock down where it lies, so the excavation step and the hauling step both disappear.
