AN ADAPTABLE PLATFORM

  • Two push bar locations allow more or less disc engagement depending on application
  • Use standard teeth for maximum efficiency or switch to carbide teeth for applications where ground engagement is required
  • INTAKE CHUTES

Brush — larger throat to gather material for high production

Hardwood — guides felled material into disc for improved processing
  • DISCHARGE CHUTES

Broadcasting — high efficiency and material dispersion

Processing — downward discharge to mitigate thrown debris and improve material sizing

VARIED MULCHING METHODS

  • Top-down feeding utilizes the bottom left side of the disc to mulch standing trees or come down on brush piles
  • Bottom-up feeding uses the right side of the disc to cut through the tree, lets the disc pull the tree into the cutting chamber, and discharges material out the left side
  • Back dragging means the operator tilts the disc forward to engage material on the ground for cleanup
  • Felling employs the left side of the disc to cut through larger trees, then guides the tree with the push bar

Frequently Asked Questions

The DH60 is a skid steer disc mulcher aimed at rural work: right of way clearing and maintenance, pasture reclamation, fire fuel reduction and similar jobs. It is a versatile and cost effective option when you need to clear land and finish large projects in a short amount of time.

It fells trees up to 14 inches and processes brush, overgrowth and trees up to 6 inches. The compact driveline design also improves operator visibility to the cutting area, which matters when you are working close to fences, poles or standing timber.

Overall width is 77 inches, working width is 60 inches, length is 68 inches and height is 34 inches. It weighs 2,700 lbs. Tooling is 8 top, 12 edge and 24 bottom.

Yes, and that is one of its strengths. The brush intake chute uses a larger throat to gather material for high production, while the hardwood chute guides felled material into the disc for improved processing. The broadcasting discharge chute maximises dispersion, and the processing chute discharges downward to mitigate thrown debris and improve material sizing.

Standard teeth give maximum efficiency in normal conditions. Switch to carbide teeth for applications where ground engagement is required and the disc will contact soil, rock or grit. Two push bar locations also let you dial in more or less disc engagement for the job.

Four. Top down feeding uses the bottom left of the disc on standing trees and brush piles. Bottom up feeding cuts through the stem and discharges material out the left side. Back dragging tilts the disc forward to engage material on the ground for cleanup. Felling uses the left side of the disc on larger trees, guided by the push bar.

Yes. Alongside the standard Fecon red, the DH60 is also offered in Fecon Yellow. Both versions carry the Fecon standard warranty of 12 months or 1,000 hours.
