Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Fecon builds the RK5015 and RK6015 specifically for standard flow skid steers and compact track loaders. They clear brush, trees and stumps down to ground level and mulch trees up to 5 inches in diameter.
Fecon lists a standard flow range starting at 17 GPM, with the product spec table showing 17 to 34 GPM at a maximum pressure of 4,000 PSI and a maximum of 75 horsepower. A variable displacement 45cc hydraulic motor drives the rotor.
Two models. The RK5015 has a 50 inch working width, 61 inch overall width and weighs 1,340 lbs. The RK6015 has a 60 inch working width, 71 inch overall width and weighs 1,465 lbs. Both are light enough to move on a small trailer.
For most farm tasks, yes. It clears crop perimeters so sunlight reaches the field edge, opens fence rows so combines and machinery are not damaged during planting, maintenance or harvest, and produces finished material smaller and finer than many competing machines, which reduces injury risk to livestock.
A 15 inch rotor diameter turning at 2,400 RPM on ST65 bearings. The RK5015 carries 22 tools and the RK6015 carries 26. The smaller, faster rotor is what allows the head to produce useful results on lower hydraulic horsepower.
Yes. It attaches easily to any low flow skid steer, keeps a close center of gravity for stability, and is small enough for a customer to transport without special equipment. That combination is why it is popular with rental fleets and landscaping crews.
An adjustable bolt on push bar with serrated ears for directing material, plus carrier specific hydraulic hoses and couplers so the head is ready to run on your machine rather than needing custom plumbing.
