High Flow Skid Steer Mulching Attachment

Fecon offers a full line of hydraulic Bull Hog mulcher attachments for your high flow skid steer, ideal for clearing brush, trees, and stumps down to ground level. Quickly mulch standing trees 4-6″ in diameter (depending on horsepower) and intermittently process 6-8″ trees.

The same skid steer or compact track loader that runs this mulching head can also run a tree shear for shearing and bunching stems before mulching.

Running into rock the mulcher can’t chew through? The same skid steer can run a stone crusher attachment to break it down before you continue clearing.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Bull Hog high flow head mulches standing trees 4 to 6 inches in diameter quickly, depending on the horsepower of your carrier, and can intermittently process 6 to 8 inch stems. It clears brush, trees and stumps down to ground level.

30 to 50 GPM, with a maximum pressure of 6,000 PSI and a maximum of 132 horsepower. Fecon offers the line for machines in the 75 to 120 HP range, so it covers most high flow skid steers and compact track loaders on the market.

Three. The BH62SS cuts 50 inches with a 65 inch overall width and weighs 2,450 lbs. The BH74SS cuts 61 inches with a 76 inch overall width and weighs 2,790 lbs. The BH85SS cuts 72 inches with an 87 inch overall width and weighs 3,140 lbs.

The variable speed motor automatically adjusts rotor speed and torque to the material load. In lighter material it runs higher RPM, giving more bites per second and finer material sizing. In heavier material it delivers more rotor torque, which keeps the rotor turning where other heads would stall.

Two rotor systems are available. The standard rotor carries 24, 30 or 36 tools depending on model, and the DCR rotor carries 20, 24 or 28. Tooth options include Viking Axe, Viking Sword, Double Carbide, High Abrasion and Stone tools, so the head can be configured for regional or job site conditions.

All three models use a 20 inch rotor diameter turning at 2,000 RPM on an ST65 rotor bearing, driven by a single 107V variable displacement motor. Bolt on skid shoes are standard and can be replaced when they wear out.

Yes. The same skid steer or compact track loader that powers this mulching head can also run a Fecon tree shear for shearing and bunching stems before mulching, or a stone crusher attachment when you hit rock the mulcher cannot chew through.
