COOKIE POLICY

We use technologies on our online services to collect information that helps us improve the operation of our services and your online experience, including delivering more personalized content and advertising.
In this Cookie Policy, we describe our use of these technologies, which may include cookies, pixels, and web beacons. This policy explains the types of cookies and other tracking technologies that we use and how you can control them.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes in this Cookie Policy will become effective when we make the revised Cookie Policy available on or through our website.
We hope that this policy helps you understand our use of these technologies. If you have any questions about how we process personal information form or about our users, please visit our Privacy Policy.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THESE TECHNOLOGIES

BROWSER COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Browser cookies are pieces of information that an online service places on your device when you visit a website and/or a mobile application. Cookies may involve the transmission of information from us to you and from you directly to us, to another party on our behalf, or to another party in accordance with its privacy policy. We may use cookies to bring together information we collect about you from different sources. We use several categories of cookies and tracking technologies, and each performs different functions.
Using your browser settings, you can choose to have your device warn you each time a cookie is being set, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. In a mobile environment, you have similar controls and choices. If you turn cookies off, you will not have access to many features that make your user experience more efficient, and some of our services will not function properly.
In addition to cookies, there are other techniques that we use to bring together information we collect about you without accessing or storing information on your device via cookies. In a mobile environment, for example, we may rely on the collection of device identifiers for similar purposes. Your device offers you controls and choices, such as the ability to limit ad tracking. We may also use server-to-server sharing, a technique that relies on the sharing of identifiers or events from our services via transmission to another party on our behalf or to another party in accordance with its privacy policy.

CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE MAY USE

The cookies that we may use on our Websites and their related Services fall into the four categories described below. These descriptions can help you decide if and how you would like to interact with our Websites and their Services.

STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES

These cookies are essential to provide our online service and enable you to navigate and use certain features. Without these strictly necessary cookies, we cannot provide you with the online services you have requested. For example, we (or service providers operating on our behalf) may use these cookies to authenticate and identify you when you use our services, to keep you logged in during your visit or across multiple visits when you choose to stay signed in, or to monitor the performance of our online service.
We may also use these cookies to identify and fix any technical issues or to prevent fraud and support the security of our service.

PREFERENCE/FUNCTIONALITY COOKIES

With your consent, we (or service providers on our behalf) may place our functionality cookies on your device.
We use preference/functionality cookies to remember choices you make (such as language preference or country location) and to provide the personalized or enhanced features that you select. We may also use preference/functionality cookies to provide online services to you, or to prevent online services that you do not want to receive. Our preference/functionality cookies process aggregated information; however, if you have a registration account with us, the information collected by us using our functionality cookies may be associated with your registration account. For example, if you are a registered user, our preference/functionality cookies may allow us to detect your experiences when accessing our websites from different devices.
In some cases, and with your consent if required, we may allow an advertiser or other third party to provide you with content and other online experiences on our Website or online service. In these cases, the third party may place their preference/functionality cookies on your device and use their preference/functionality cookies in the same way we use ours: to provide you with personalized or enhanced features in connection with the third-party content or experience.
If you delete these preference/functionality cookies, any preferences or settings you selected will also be deleted.

STATISTICS/PERFORMANCE COOKIES

With your consent if required, we (or service providers on our behalf) may place our statistics/performance cookies on your device. We use the information collected using our statistics/performance cookies to improve your online experience or for other statistical gathering purposes.

We also use statistics/performance cookies to generate aggregated information about how you and other users use our Websites and their features. For instance, we may use these cookies to collect information about:

  • which pages on our Websites you visit most often and the date and time of visits and traffic sources;
  • if you open or read the communications we send;
  • which advertisements you view or interact with on our Website or other services on which our advertisements appear; or
  • how you navigate through our Websites and if you receive any error messages.

We may use the information collected to improve users’ online experience, to collate statistics, or customize your online experience by showing you content we think you will like.

With your consent if required, we also may allow third-party advertisers to place their statistics/performance cookies on your device via their advertisements on our Websites. For instance, we may use the information these third-party performance cookies collect to assess:

  • which third-party advertisements to display,
  • how often to display them, or
  • in which locations the third-party advertisements perform best.

You can delete or manage statistics/performance cookies as described in this policy.

MARKETING COOKIES

THIRD-PARTY TARGETED ADVERTISING

With your consent if required, third-party advertisers, ad networks, data exchanges, marketing analytics, and other service providers may place third-party targeted advertising cookies on your device.
Third-party targeted advertising cookies collect information about your browsing activity across multiple websites and online services to provide you with relevant advertisements on our Websites and third parties’ websites and online services. Ad networks may share this information with the advertisers using their network. We may also use these cookies to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, for example, by collecting data on how many people click on a particular advertisement.

OUR TARGETED ADVERTISING

With your consent if required, we (or service providers on our behalf) may place targeted advertising cookies on your device.
We may use these cookies on our Websites and in connection with our content and advertisements that appear on third-party websites and online services to recognize that you have viewed or interacted with our content or advertisements and so we can show you advertisements for products that we believe will be of interest to you. We may also use these cookies to limit the number of times you see the same advertisement. If you have a registration account with us, the information collected by us using our targeted advertising cookies may be associated with your registration account. For example, we may use this combined information to show more closely targeted advertisements to you based on your browsing behavior.
The organization setting the cookie (either the third party or us) is responsible for obtaining consent.

DISABLING/ENABLING COOKIES

VIA CONSENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

Our Websites may offer user controls for consent management, including controls that allow you to switch on or off individual categories of cookies (i.e., preferences/functionality, statistics/performance, or advertising).
When available, such controls would be accessible via a link at the footer of our Websites.

VIA YOUR BROWSER

You can also accept or decline cookies through your browser settings or set your browser to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. You should be aware that you may not be able to use all our interactive features if you set your browser to disable cookies entirely.
If you use different devices, you may need to ensure that each browser reflects your preferences.
You can delete any installed cookies through the cookie folder of your browser. The various browsers provide different procedures to manage your settings.
It may not be possible for you to selectively opt out of all third-party advertising cookies placed on our Websites, though you may opt out of receiving cookies from us as noted above. Please note that disabling cookies does not disable other types of analytics products that we may use to collect non-personal information about how you and others that use our Websites.

WEB BEACONS

We (or services provides on our behalf) may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”). These are tiny graphics files that include a unique identifier that enables us to recognize when someone has visited our Websites or opened an email including them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, so declining cookies will impair their functioning.

FLASH COOKIES AND LOCAL SHARED OBJECTS

Websites may also use so-called “Flash Cookies” (also known as Local Shared Objects or “LSOs”) to, among other things, collect and store information about your use of our services, fraud prevention, and for other site operations.

If you do not want Flash Cookies stored on your computer, you can adjust the settings of your Flash player to block Flash Cookies storage using the tools contained in the Website Storage Settings Panel. You can also control Flash Cookies by going to the Global Storage Settings Panel and following the instructions (which may include instructions that explain, for example, how to delete existing Flash Cookies (referred to “information” on the Macromedia site), how to prevent Flash LSOs from being placed on your computer without your being asked, and (for Flash Player 8 and later) how to block Flash Cookies that are not being delivered by the operator of the page you are on at the time).

Please note that setting the Flash Player to restrict or limit acceptance of Flash Cookies may reduce or impede the functionality of some Flash applications, including, potentially, Flash applications used in connection with our services or online content.

The date at the top of this Cookie Policy notes when it was last updated.
