FTX 440

The FTX440 is designed and built tough from the ground up for the most demanding landclearing work. The FTX440 efficiently provides torque to the mulching attachment through a PTO and fluid coupler system. Fecon's^® patented rotating gear box system provides the Bull Hog^® a range of motion not seen on traditional PTO machinery.

The Caterpillar^® D6 class undercarriage with hydrostatic drive allows the FTX440 to navigate the difficult terrains. A Caterpillar^® C13 engine provides the power for this high production tractor. Service work is made easier with large access doors, swing out hydraulic cooler, and easy to reach filters and check points. The sliding cab provides access to components below, for periodic maintenance. Operators find the FTX440 cab comfortable on long shifts with the safety and visibility of 360° lighting.

The FTX440 is the machine for mass land clearing, wide tracts of right-of-way work, and firebreaks.
