FRM-70

The Fecon® FRM-70 is a heavy-duty rotary cutter built to handle extreme brush cutting jobs. If you are clearing fence rows, thinning multiple acres or as a compliment to your other clearing equipment, the FRM-70 rotary mower is built to handle your toughest jobs. A skid steer equipped with hydraulic flow of 21 to 45 gpm. can take advantage of all the features and benefits of our mower deck. The reinforced push bar allows the operator to control the material and cut brush up to 6” in diameter. The front chained intake door lifts and allows the tree to enter the blade area creating a cleaner more complete cut. Additionally, there are no void areas on the underside of the deck where the material is contained within the cutting area for better material reduction; helping you meet your job specifications when sizing is important.

Our Bi-directional direct drive gear motor rotates in either direction utilizing the four 12” dual-sided rotary axe blades reducing operational costs with extended blade life and helping the operator direct the material as it is discharged away from the deck mower. The extra thick 3/8” steel deck sides are reinforced and set on replaceable AR400 steel skid shoes that are easily changed (as compared to weld on shoes) an important factor when operating in the field. The unit has a smooth deck surface that does not allow debris to accumulate on top of the mower; preventing obstruction of the operators’ view and potentially damaging the hoses. As a safety feature the hydraulic brake is standard on all units. The hydraulic brake stops the rotor quickly and safely when mower is turned off or in the event of an emergency.
