  • Management/Professional Territory Manager

    Fecon is looking for a quality-driven team member to manage equipment sales. This individual is responsible for selling Fecon land clearing equipment and construction attachments to land clearing contractors and construction equipment dealers. This position is home-based with regular travel. This is a hands-on job, working with the equipment and demoing for customers and also training operators. The Territory Manager will occasionally partner with the engineering and production departments to consider revisions and updates.


    Our Territory Managers are responsible for building relationships – both setting up new relationships and nurturing existing relationships with our dealers and customers. Additionally, responsibilities include developing sales targets among land clearing contractors.


    **Product testing and operation training is a crucial responsibility of this position.**


    Skills and Knowledge:

    •     Knowledge of heavy equipment/construction equipment is required.
    •     Two years of experience in sales of construction equipment is helpful.
    •     Computer literate.
    •     Strong work ethic.
    •     Extremely organized with excellent written and oral communication skills.
    •     Must be able to handle cold calls.
    •     Physical ability to safely climb onto and around the equipment.
    •     Experience and physical ability to safely drive and operate machinery.

  • MANAGEMENT/PROFESSIONAL product specialist

    JOB SUMMARY: The Product Specialist is an expert for their assigned products and responsible for supporting the product management of assigned products, assisting in developing sales and marketing collateral, ensuring all product related information is communicated to the appropriate channels, and contributing to achieving targets for the category.


    Key performance objectives in order of priority include:

    1. Promotes and inspires opportunities for assigned product sales, market share, and profitability. (10%)


    2. Serves as a Sales resource, directly or in support of others, to assist in meeting sales objectives of the organization. (25%)


    3. Develops concepts and coordinates production of sales and marketing collateral to support sales and promotion of the products (15%)


    4. Gathers information and assist product management to validate product opportunities and execute product decisions. (20%)


    5. Serves as a project resource to drive go-to-market processes for new products and meet organizational goals. (10%)

    Interpersonal Responsibilities

    1.  Assists in the prospecting and the sales process to turn sales leads into opportunities; makes presentations, internally and externally, as necessary.

    Operational Responsibilities

    1.  Assists in coordinating, managing and executing product and product category strategies to drive product awareness and sales.


    2.  Prioritizes, segments, and processes information to internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate product information to the customers; ensures all product related information is accessible and communicated to appropriate parties in a timely manner.


    3.Conducts competitive analysis and assists in developing strategies to drive product success including market position, product quality and pricing as well as cost reductions.


    4.  Conducts market and voice of the customer research to determine target markets, industries associations and determine new markets, customer needs and pricing strategies.  Shares insights and analysis with internal teams.


    5.  Assists in creating existing and/or new product specifications and pricing; collaborates with internal teams to determine appropriate pricing.


    6.  Assists in identifying, coordinating and participating in tradeshows


    7.  Assists in developing, designing and implementing marketing and training collateral as well as product related presentations for assigned products.


    8.  Develops and maintains a product database that includes product specifications, artwork and marketing collateral.


    Organizational Responsibilities

    1.  Participates in new product Gate meetings and launches.


    2.  Assists Product Manager in gathering appropriated data to accurately forecast product sales.


    3.  Assists Product Manager in meeting corporate objectives for the assigned product categories, including sales, profit, and market share.

    Experience:  0-1 yearsSales & Marketing experience. Sales Engineer experience and Mechanical aptitude are a plus. New graduates welcome. Be able to interact with various clients/prospect. Be versatile and able to adapt when in front of different clients, Overnight travel will be required (20% initially, may become 30-35%).

  • Management/Professional Shop Service Technician

    The Shop Service Technician serves conducts repairs and updates on Fecon equipment. Visiting customer sites to make repairs, address service problems to determine service and parts needs, and working with parts, service and engineering to fulfill the customer’s requirements is the bulk and main area of responsibility.

    The Shop Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment in house and in the field. Extensive mechanical and hydraulic ability in the mobile equipment industries is required. This can include skid steers, excavators, forestry equipment, fork trucks, semi-trucks, and more. If you are someone that likes to get their hands dirty working on machines, we would like to hear from you. Automotive experience is generally not enough.



    •     Resourcefulness to find needed services and parts in remote locations.
    •     Mechanical aptitude and the ability to MIG or flux core weld.
    •     Excellent people skills working with a diverse set of customers and dealers is a must.
    •     Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

  • Service Field Service Technician

    Reports to the Service Manager

    This position does not manage employees.

    Conduct field repairs, installations and updates on heavy equipment.
Visit customer sites to make repairs and address service problems to determine service and parts needs.
Work with Parts, Service and Engineering departments to fulfill customer requirements is a large part of the responsibilities.
Train customers and dealers on the proper care and maintenance of equipment are also part of the duties.
Additional responsibilities include trouble shooting, conducting product orientation and training sessions in-house and on the road.
Extensive mechanical, electrical and hydraulic ability in the Heavy Equipment industry is REQUIRED.
This can include skid steers, excavators, forestry equipment, fork trucks, semi-trucks and more. AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE DOES NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.


    Skills Required:

    •     Ability to travel as required to customer locations (50% - 75% of the time).
    •     Resourcefulness to find needed services and parts in remote locations.
    •     Ability to work with customer and dealer personnel in a cooperative way to get a job or training mission accomplished.
    •     Excellent people skills working with a diverse set of customers and dealers.
    •     Skills to repair the customer as well as the equipment.
    •     Willingness to see problems through to a satisfactory conclusion.
    •     Good organizational and record-keeping skills are a must.

  • Service MIG Welder

    Mig Welder


    Training and experience in MIG and Flux Core welding is required.


    • Tack Weld from blueprints

  • Service Assembler Technician

    H.S graduate or equivalent GED – Tech school training a plus.


    • Mechanical ability a must – experience with mechanical assemblies
    • Experience with hydraulic components and systems required
    • Ability to work from hydraulic schematics and layout diagrams
    • Ability to understand methods sheets and documented work instructions
    • Work off of a schedule and records assembly data

  • service press brake operator


    A brake press operator uses an electrically powered industrial machine to create, shape and customize metal material into a variety of forms dictated by the manufacturer.  Required to read and interpret detailed and complex instructions to produce the desired forms. 


    1.  Sets stops on machine bed, change dies, and adjust components, such as ram or power press, when making multiple or successive passes.


    2.  Operates power press, power brake, apron brake, swaging machine, foot-powered press, hydraulic press or arbor press according to specifications.


    3.  Installs, aligns and secures gears, holding fixtures, dies to machine bed, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims and hand tools.


    4.  Plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of physical properties of the metal.


    5.  Inspects workpiece for defects.


    6.  Measures workpiece and verifies dimensions and weight, using micrometer, template, straightedge and scale.


    7.  Selects and positions flat, block, radius, or special purpose die sets into ram and bed of machine, using hoist, crane, measuring instruments and hand tools.


    8.  Maintain the machinery and keep the work area clean and orderly.


    Skills Required:

    1.  Good Math Skills: in order to understand complex instructions, how schematics work and to ensure that items are designed and built correctly.


    2.  Problem Solving Skills: in order to understand when the machine is not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.


    3.  Attention to Detail: press brakes are precision equipment.  Being off by millimeters could be a critical error.


    4.  Mechanical and Technical Skills: machines controlled by computers will need operators who understand technology.


    5.  Stamina: press brake operators often long hours doing repetitive movements.
